STORY: The second Sunday of Advent brought rain and cold to crowds gathering to hear the Pope bestow blessings in St Peter's Square. The Pope can barely be seen speaking from a top floor window accross the way above the far colonnade. My digital negatives were truly blessed this day, as many panos and stills were lost from faulty flash cards only to be miraculously recovered later that night by some fancy digital footwork.
